Web2Print - and now what?
During a drupa review today, a discussion started about the effects of digital printing and web to print. IT as a paradigm for process or workflow innovation was the main focus of hall 7 with the DIP drupa innovation parc.
Interestingly, a lot of people in the discussion focused on the technologies involved, as trends in web interfaces like flex vs. html, trends in rendering engninse like Indesign Server vs. PDFlib and so on. ...more
