Adobe with feet back on the ground?

The übertech blog TechCrunch interviewed Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch.
Kevin proclaimed a strong dedication to HTML5, which somewhat would weaken the position of Air and Flash in the general web.
Now that HTML5 now seems to be the next best thing since sliced bread, I sincerely hope, that this new enthusiasm doesn't stop, as soon as Apple discovers, that there will be a lot hotter competition for i-based products.
It's now down to discussion the video codecs supported in HTML5 from the major browser vendors. I keep my finger crossed for an open (to all) solution.
